This involves reviewing years past process and making adjustments to them for future seasons. We are growing crops year round in the high tunnel greenhouse and working on blueberry plots. Grafting and planting is the focus this spring in the orchard. scion collection starts in January and grafting will take place in March. this is a delicate process. This will give us the best placement and varieties that are adapted for the Appalachian inner plateau in which we operate. We are expanding varieties and rootstocks this year in hopes to raise production in successive years in the orchard. We have had good success with dwarf and semi-dwarfing rootstocks.
Maintenance is huge in the winter and focus on that as well. Equipment always begs for attention, no matter its age. Our babies are raised underfoot with lots of love and attention!  All of our Ragdoll cats and kittens are TICA registered and come with a written health guarantee.  Each kitten is vet checked and has received appropriate shots.  During examination, every kitten is tested for FIV, FeLV, and our cattery is free of FIP.  All of our Ragdoll breeders are DNA tested, and are negative for HCM, PKD, and other known genetic disorders.

The prices of our kittens vary by special circumstance, sex and purpose of kitten, as well as whether or not it is spayed or neutered before it goes to its new family.

We currently have 8 different varieties of antique heritage apples growing in our orchard.  Apple varieties include: Honeycrisp, Snow Sweet, Grimes Golden, Empire, Enterprise, Arkansas Black, Fuji, and Crispin apples.  In addition to apples, we also offer fresh Peaches and Harrow Pears.
